CANVERSI S.R.L. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Coheran mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data Stored Locally

When you use the App without an account, the following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

Breathing session history (technique used, duration, completion status)
Mood check-in entries (energy, stress, focus and anxiety levels)
Usage statistics (session count, streak, total minutes)
App preferences

1.2 Account Data

If you choose to create an account, we additionally collect:

Email address
First and last name
Password (stored securely via AWS Cognito, never in plaintext)

When signed in, your breathing sessions and mood entries may be synced to our cloud infrastructure to enable cross-device access.

1.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

Location data
Contacts or phone data
Health data from wearables or health apps
Advertising identifiers
Photos, camera, or microphone access (the optional heart-rate measurement uses the camera only locally and never stores images)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and operate the breathing exercise features
Display your personal statistics and progress
Recommend breathing techniques based on your mood inputs
Sync your data across devices (if you have an account)
Improve the App and develop new features

3. Data Storage and Security

Local data is stored on your device using standard platform storage mechanisms. Cloud data for registered users is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled through AWS Cognito, an industry-standard identity service.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only:

With service providers who help us operate the App (e.g., AWS for cloud hosting)
When required by law or legal process
To protect the rights, safety, or property of CANVERSI S.R.L. or our users

5. Subscriptions & Payment Data

Premium subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). We never receive or store your payment-card details. Subscription status is delivered to the App through our analytics provider Adapty solely so we can unlock paid features for you. 6. Data Retention

Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear app data. Cloud data for registered users is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cloud infrastructure and authentication (AWS Cognito, AppSync, DynamoDB)
Adapty — Subscription state and entitlement management
Firebase Analytics — Anonymous in-app usage analytics

These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
